What a brilliant start to the year in Reception! The children have been busy sharing their amazing summer scrapbooks with the class, and we were blown away by the effort and creativity that went into them. Each scrapbook was filled with photos, drawings, tickets and treasures that told the story of their summer adventures.
From exciting holidays and joyful family weddings to forest clubs, jungle exploration and precious time spent with families, the children had so many wonderful experiences to share. As they proudly talked us through their pages, we learned so much about each child’s interests, adventures and the special people in their lives.
It was a fantastic way to celebrate their experiences and to begin building strong connections as a class. The scrapbooks not only helped us get to know the children better, but also gave us a lovely window into their families and the things that matter most to them.
We can’t wait to see how these interests and experiences will inspire our learning together this year!
