This week, our EYFS, Acorn Class and KS1 children were treated to a very special performance when a travelling pantomime company visited school to perform Dick Whittington. The hall was filled with excitement from the moment the cast arrived, and the children were soon swept up in an unforgettable morning of laughter, music and classic panto magic.
The performance was a wonderful opportunity for our younger pupils to experience live theatre in a warm and accessible way. It sparked imagination, encouraged participation, and created a shared moment of joy across EYFS and KS1, something we know they will remember for a long time. The children left the hall buzzing with excitement, many of them still singing the songs and repeating their favourite lines long after the curtain came down.
What a fantastic morning and a brilliant way to celebrate the magic of storytelling and performance in our school!
