Our EYFS children recently took part in a wonderful Christmas showcase, celebrating the festive season with their families. The children looked fantastic in their Christmas outfits as they confidently performed a selection of songs on stage, including When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney, Wish You a Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells, which was supported with Makaton signing.
The performance also included a short nativity story, where the children shared the Christmas message and demonstrated their growing confidence and communication skills. It was a joy to see the children performing with such enthusiasm and pride.
Following the showcase, families were invited back into the classroom to enjoy a range of Christmas-themed activities together. These included making reindeer food, decorating melted snowman biscuits, taking part in snowman bowling, creating their dream Christmas dinner through cutting and sticking, and decorating presents.
The afternoon was a lovely celebration of learning, creativity and togetherness, and we would like to thank all families for joining us and helping to make the event so special.
Reception children, you should be SO proud of yourselves, you absolutely sparkled and shined!!
