Year 3 had a wonderful start to the new term after Easter by getting hands-on baking their very own bread. The children explored a range of skills, including carefully measuring ingredients, following step-by-step instructions, kneading dough, and working collaboratively with their classmates. They also developed patience as they waited for the dough to rise and the bread to bake. The highlight of the day was, of course, tasting their freshly made bread, which everyone agreed was well worth the effort. It was a fantastic way to build confidence, teamwork, and a love of learning through a fun and practical experience.
