Our Reception children had a fantastic time welcoming John from the Creepy Crawly Roadshow into school as part of their learning about minibeasts and life cycles.
The exciting workshop gave the children the opportunity to see and learn about a wide variety of fascinating creatures up close. Pupils were introduced to different minibeasts and insects and discovered interesting facts about their habitats, diets and life cycles.
The session was full of excitement, curiosity and hands-on learning as the children carefully observed the creatures and bravely handled some of them too!
The visit linked perfectly with Reception’s recent learning about caterpillars, butterflies and other bugs. Children were especially excited to compare what they had already learned in class with the real-life creatures they saw during the roadshow.
We would like to say a huge thank you to John Vale from the Creepy Crawly Roadshow for providing such a memorable and educational experience for our pupils. The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will certainly remember it for a long time to come!
