This week, our Year 4 pupils were buzzing with excitement as they took part in an interactive Electricity Workshop! The session helped bring their science learning to life, as the children explored how electricity is made and discovered the difference between renewable and non-renewable energy sources.

Working in small groups, they built their own electrical circuits, lighting bulbs, buzzing buzzers and even making their own switches. The children investigated what happens when circuits are broken and discussed how electricity powers so many of the things we use every day.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that really helped to spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of how electricity works. The children showed great teamwork, problem-solving and enthusiasm throughout the session.
